Among the Ancient Town Churches
The Visitazione della Beata Vergine Maria a Santa Elisabetta Parish Church was built in the historical part of town. During the Renaissance, it was expanded, and in 1588 it was transformed into a three-aisle church. In 1871, after being completely destroyed and rebuilt, it was expanded even further, and today it preserves precious furnishings and the wooden statue of the Mary of Mon Perin, the hill where Bale-Valle’s Town is erected. Next to it, you can admire the marvellous 36 meter bell tower.
